Candidates for this exam have at least one
year of experience in an embedded system environment developing
for embedded devices by using Windows XP Embedded or later.
Candidates should also have at least six months of experience
using Windows Embedded Standard 2011.
They should also have functional knowledge
of how to build and configure the runtime image. In addition,
they should have strong familiarity with administering Windows
systems, deploying to a variety of hardware platforms, and
troubleshooting device driver installations.
Candidates for this exam should also have
experience with the following:

deployment options and methodologies

Embedded Enabling Features (EEFs)

Image Builder Wizard (IBW) and Image
Configuration Editor (ICE)

servicing deployed systems
